Please stand up for those too young to stand up for themselves! Spread the word and advocate for more funding for childhood cancer research!
I am curious how many of you who stumble upon this page realized it was Childhood Cancer Awareness month...not faulting anyone at all. I didn't know of it until my child was diagnosed in 2006. Regardless of if you knew or not, how you came across knowing, you know now.
I hope that someday the gold ribbon will be as widely known as the pink ones. I wish that for this month it was gold everywhere! Commercials, billboards, radio spots, magazines, the sides of buses even! I hope that when people see it, they will think of their future and do their part to spread awareness...and some day a CURE!
